Michael Mayer (“Lovefood”), Tosca (“Heidi Bruehl”), Soulstice (“Wind [Fila Brazilia Remix]”), and Lee “Scratch” Perry (who guests on Zuco 103's “Love Is Queen Omega”) are some of the bigger names who populate the eighth volume of the Hôtel Costes mix album series.

The DJ, Stéphane Pompougnac, also contributes “Last Night,” an oddball tune drenched in organ. As usual, the selections maintain an upbeat, albeit relaxing, mood. A cover of Donald Byrd's mid-'70s jazz-funk classic "Think Twice" is unrecognizable until the vocal kicks in.
